Jennifer Strout, LMT, RYT comes to the massage therapy field with a professional background in business management, human resources and an unwavering desire to help others in a natural, meaningful and compassionate way.  Jennifer specializes in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Myoskeletal, Ayurveda, Hot Stone and Thai massage.  She performs most massage techniques on our services menu.  She enjoys incorporating Eastern with Western healing techniques.  She is also a certified Reiki II Practitioner and a certified, Registered Yoga Teacher.  She believes that body/mind/spirit balance is key to whole health.  She strives to encourage this balance in each client by providing massage therapy that not only decreases pain and muscle tension, but also results in increased emotional balance and relaxation.  If you'd like an appointment with her and can't seem to fit it into the scheduler, just text her and she'll try to fit you in.  For questions about any of her techniques, please call or **text her directly @ (203) 648-7531.

Abigail Sweeney, LMT has degrees in Biology and Medical Technology.  After working in a very technical and clinical setting for almost ten years, she sought a way to make a difference on a more personal level.  Her continued concern for people's health and well-being influenced her to choose a career in massage therapy.  In addition to Art Of Healing Therapy, she works in a fitness/wellness center and is currently enrolled in aesthetics school.  She will be offering specialized facials and skin care upon her graduation.  She is licensed for massage in Connecticut and New York.  She specializes in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Neuromuscular Therapy, Acupressure (Shiatsu), and Reflexology.  She is also Reiki II certified.  She likes employing both Eastern and Western techniques in her sessions.  Let her compassionate spirit and comfortably warm hands help you achieve the better health you deserve!  For questions about any of her techniques, please call her directly @ (203) 648-7787.

James Wolfe, LMT has a background in the martial arts which he has practiced for over 10 years.  It was through those experiences that led him to the desire of understanding the workings of the human body in a more complete way.  After graduating from the clinical program at CCMT, he looked to combine his knowledge of Eastern thinking with Western ideas.  Through assessing the human structure, a person's posture, and by balancing of the body's energy (Qi) flow in a complete full body session, he strives to result in less muscle tension, freedom of movement, and overall relief.  James specializes in Acupressure, Sports massage, Myoskeletal, Swedish and Deep Tissue.  In addition to Art Of Healing Therapy, he also performs massage at a chiropractic office in New Fairfield and Danbury.  For questions about any of his techniques, please
call him or **text him directly @ (203) 512-3226.

Katherine Awalt, LMT started Mahalo Massage in November of 2006.  Now she has joined us at Art Of Healing Therapy.  Katt has a history in the health and wellness field focusing on exercise and nutrition.  Her love for massage came from a joy of being able to assist relaxation and, more so, healing.  "I feel everyone deserves a chance to rest, relax and restore.  In these busy times more than ever.  Treating yourself shouldn't be a task."  She is proficient in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports massage and enjoys working with athletes.  She is certified for Pre/Post Natal massage along with Reiki I.  For questions about her techniques, please call or **text her directly @ (203) 510-6562.

Kira Brooks, LMT became a Licensed Massage Therapist in 1999 at a richly, holistic school in the state of Florida. She chose this profession because she felt a calling to work in a field that she could bring pain and stress relief to people, as well as peace and calm in their lives. After graduating, Kira worked in her own practice and was asked to assistant teach at the school in the modalities of Swedish massage and Pre-Natal massage. In addition to those two types of massage, Kira enjoys doing Deep Relaxation massage and Deep Tissue massage.  Kira loves to learn new modalities and will soon be adding Hot Stone and Thai Massage to her repertoire.  For questions about any of her techniques, please call her directly @ (914) 474-1210.

Esperanza Lopez, LMT has a professional background in Project Management, Marketing and Advertising. Although fulfilling careers, she sought a way to make a more personal impact by helping people heal. Growing up, she always had a strong interest in the workings of the body and has sought natural healing remedies for various ailments. After continuously massaging a friend with cancer, she decided that massage therapy could help provide relief to others and took up the calling.  In addition to Art of Healing, she also offers her services at a Chiropractic doctor’s office. She is a caring, compassionate person with a strong commitment to helping people feel better and will work with you to address your needs. She specializes in Deep Tissue and Swedish Massage and is a Reiki Level II Practitioner. For any questions about your session or needs, please call or text her at 203-501-8341.
